Our rooms
Two kinds of room, one way of working

Toddler room, ages 2 to 3
Alka Puri guides the toddler room with an assistant. Children come five days or three mornings, for a half day or the school day.
Arrive, hang a coat, wash hands
A morning of work on trays and low shelves
Snack, outdoors, a short story
Lunch and rest, for the school day

Primary rooms, ages 3 to 5
June Nagata and Asher Woodward each guide a primary room, with an assistant. Each room is mixed in age, so younger children learn beside older ones.
Arrive, greet a guide, wash hands
A long, uninterrupted work cycle
Snack that children prepare
Outdoor time, then circle and story
Lunch and quiet work, for the school day
Every morning
What to bring and wear
Bring
Lunch in a container your child can open, a water bottle, and a spare set of clothes in a labeled bag.
Wear
Clothes your child can manage alone and that can get wet or dirty, and shoes that stay on for outdoor time. Indoor shoes stay at school.
Leave at home
Toys, tablets and anything with a screen. The rooms already hold what a child needs for the morning.
See a room while it is working
A tour is a good way to see how a morning runs. Book one, and bring your child if you like.
